IF this is the same company I'm thinking of, they have been doing oil/gas leasing for years -- and quite successfully from the looks of things.  I believe I saw a lot of Continental leases when I was working in PA.   However, I know there is a Continental Resources, Inc. that is based in Illinois (they have a lot of leases in Michigan), so I may be mistaken.  Unsure if there is a connection between the two companies.

Continental Land Resources IS listed at a website called "The Ultimate Oilfield Guide" at P.O. Box 2170, Edmond OK    phone 405-341-2284.  It makes me nervous that there is only a P.O. Box for an address....  I might be able to get you in contact with an active oil/gas person "in the know" if you need more info.  Feel free to e-mail me at
