I already perform refinance closings for a couple of my clients and have been for a few years now.   Started as a courtesy to them, now I am considering advertising outside my current clients.  I know what I charge currently and what some  local notaries are recieving.  Your pricing is not far off from what I see here locally. I have inquired to a few national companies that don't seem to want to pay that price.  I wasn't sure if it was across the board or if I happened to contact a few that don't pay well. 

The certification, is more for the client to know that I know what I am doing.  Plus, it does have its advantages of advertisement along with the certificate.  Not something I want to spend if the market is not paying what I am currently recieving.
