Jean:

Send them an invoice for the fees you charge and then ask them for a "status" of the payment- all this before you start there work and then let them  know that once the payment status is "sent" you will continue to complete their title- might get you  some static, but will be fun to see what they do.
Be sure to give them as many ways to let you know the status, ie: e-mail address, fax#,.reg phone number, and also your snail mail address, just for the fun of it.
