We had a similair situation years ago with one of our clients, who just would not tell thier client that the fee had changed in a particular county, so of course the checks were always $5 short. Finally I found their clients website, emailed the powers that be and just politely informed them of the fee change in that county.  Lo & Behold, the next checks we got for that client were right on the money, as far as recording fee goes. Just an observer here.
