Source of Title Forums: Re: Dishonest abstractor?

I had this happen to me in one of the counties I search in last year. The copies added up to over $600. When I advised the clerk that I had not been in that county more than twice that month for 2 60 year searches, they "ate" the fees and gave me a new code.
