This whole post has hit the nail on the head. However, I have been saying this for over 15 years at various points in our business. It's been almost 23 years since we opened and I've seen prices decrease almost every year. This has to be a UNITED front because the minute an abstractor agrees to a $10 current owner search ( have no idea how they pay bills ) the rest of us suffer. We are losing 80% of our work to overseas companies, who ever would have seen that coming in the title industry?
