Miss "Kara"...I am in TOTAL and COMPLETE agreement with your post!  Our industry should have been come up with some way to keep the integrity of our industry with some kind of standardization or as you are saying we form an alliance of some sort.  

 At first, I was thinking that maybe this would pass.  Being asked to do ridiculous searches at minimal rates but I am seeing that this is the new trend.  I DEFINITELY charge ridiculous rate for doc rets.  A ridiculous rate for the first doc then a per doc fee after the first doc.  I will not touch a back chain anymore (and in the rare instance that I might I charge as a full) and I don't touch judgment lien retrievals especially from companies that I hardly do work for.  And I no longer complete fulls for less than $100 PERIOD.

WE NEED TO COME UP WITH SOME KIND OF ALLIANCE!!  We don't need to fight each other for work and I wish we could set more fee standards that's more universal and that aren't cutthroat!  I don't care if I have been working with a company for 10+ years, I will not do it!  I, of course, won't try to even attempt to tell anyone how they should "run THEIR business" but if we want our industry to remain relevant WE HAVE TO TAKE SOME KIND OF ACTION, STICK TOGETHER.....and we need to do this NOW!!!  Because that same said company that you may have been working with for 10+ years, you better believe if they can find a better rate they will leave you and the loyalty you thought you've built in a NY minute!!!
