Robert:
Have the counties in Ohio NOT filmed or scanned all of their respective books for security and or a back up copy? If not, what are they waiting for , a fire to clear things out? I can't imagine any county that has not filmed a back up for the land records -and if they have done that, a marginal notation is contained only on the record room copy and really no longer is part of the "official" record, as I have had discussions with David Bloys about in the past.
Give me some reasoning behind the systems that exist in Ohio that would allow for marginal notations of any kind. We did away with them in Virginia back in the 70's, all because of the filming that was about to take place.
I am just interested in how things work in Ohio, and other states as well.
Thank you ,
