if i am searching a completely different lot i charge for a full price search. it is probably a different buyer than the lost lot you did and believe me if it is the same closing company they aren't giving that buyer any break just becasue they already closed another lot in the same subdivison, so why should you cut your fee?

if you are bringing the search forward for the same lot that you already searched or that they gave you a prior title report on, then you can give a price break.

not sure how other searchers do it but the searchers i know in my southwestern pennsylvania area do it that way.
