Are there still counties that have not taken the necessary measures to secure their respective land records by either filming the books or scanning them?
If the land records have been filmed- , marginal notations become a thing of the past, along with any fees that they might have charged , and the books would no longer be the "official record", the film would be, since anyone could add notations to the books , none of which was on the film. It would be like running an index one day, and finding "x" and then running it again later and finding "x +"- just not anything any us would enjoy !
Just some thoughts.
