We too, work for one of those large National VM's, the problem is not in the VM. Stop to think how many people have handled this application before it even came as an abstract to you. The applicant, the broker, the bank who orders it through the VM, anyone of these could have caused a typo or misinformation. We see it everyday, we also verify what county it is before the search goes anywhere, it is part of our job to make sure the right property is searched  before we go sending people to the courthouse.
