William,   If the doc is rejected by the ROD they are the ones making the call that there

is a problem with it, not me.    If a page can be added as you say, or the other minor

non-writing changes, I would do them, but my action(s) then make the doc

acceptable, I deserve a "fee" for making the doc recordable.  Once it's free,

2nd time a serious discussion with the customer, and 3rd and more times a

fee for my services.   How many other businesses perform services without

charging the customer.   Utility companies, doctors, etc., all charge.  If a

business works for nothing long enough, they'll be out of business.  Even

greater insult, the send a doc that is rejected by the county, that I did not

do the search for.
