Last year when it came time to renew my E and O insurance I decided to NOT go with TIAC, they appear to be the MOST expensive when it comes to E and O insurance not to mention the fact that you are forced to join the American Land Title Association if you insure thru them.

I got my insurance thru Houston Casualty Company, I was shocked at how great their prices were, after paying ALOT more for years with TIAC. TIAC wanted 10K for 1 million, I got the same coverage for $2400 a year thru Houston Casualty. I was paying over 4K a year with TIAC for a $250,000 policy.I also, knock on wood, have never had any claims.

You should definitely shop around, I think you will be pleasantly surprised that you can get the same coverage you currently have for ALOT less.
