Wendi: You are correct- What I am offering does not fit your requirements- it has a lot of details that just do not enter in to my simple method- try TSS- theirs is a great program-(expensive, but you will have to fore go "inexpensive" to get what you want, I think-hopefully someone will lead you to a better method.
What you are looking for is called a "relational" data base- there are a number of those too- they interlink many different types of forms and put them all together-like Alpha 10 and Access.
As I read the other posts It became clear that what I initially offered to you was just not going to be your answer- I wish you the best outcome with your situation.
