I would welcome the C-SPAN coverage, but I don't think it is very useful.  First, do think many would watch it?  Second, of those that do, do you think anyone would understand any of it?  That is the major drawback to a true democracy (as opposed to a Republican form of government)... the masses are grossly unqualified to make these kinds of decisions.  That is why under a Republican form of government we elect competent individuals to represent us and we much trust them to make the decisions that are in our best interest.  At least, that is how it's supposed to work.  Not really sure it does... we seem to keep electing idiots to office and that just screws up everything!
