Offering a better policy with less exceptions is merely upgrading their insurance coverage. Insurance agents do this everyday. Its not giving legal advice. In fact having them consult with a lawyer is a great (and welcomed) idea in our area and usually leads to removing some of the standard exceptions I was speaking about. You might be surprised to know that many lawyers consult with title companies to improve their client's policy. Imagine that ! By the way there are some attorneys who haven't a clue about real estate (must not be from Connecticut?).
