I have the name registered and it does belong to me.  I also thought that the company just had a similar name but the "company" told this abstractor that they were in the process of moving their "company" here.  In PA  i dont think you can register any company that has a similar name without the permission of the owner of the similar name.  (They would need my permission)  Which means that the person out right lied when representing themselves as registered under this name.  Also, wouldnt they have had to know who and where I was in order to make their story more believable ??  I mean, what are the chances that someone would pick out my company name AND my state??!!  An issue with similar names??? I THINK NOT !

PS- According to the census bureau there are only 3 counties of Beaver in the United States-Pennsylvania, Utah and Oklahoma.  Why would anyone call their company Beaver County Abstract if they werent in one of these states ??
