Here's the response from my rep as promised.

Hi Matt,  I don’t have any other abstractors insured for e&O but I have several people in title and i-t.  Those premiums haven’t changed much in the last three years and in some cases have gone down.  However, there are many factors that go into rating a policy… ie size of business, number of contracts… etc.   If someone has double their business and business exposure over the prior year then that can result in a higher premium.  I know that the department that handled the specialty products was moved and reorganized about four years ago.  I haven’t had any complaints.  I will talk to the underwriter about it
