How would your Liability be compromised? If anyone's liability would be compromised, it would be the previous searcher's if they missed something that you found while doing the Bringdown. As long as your thorough on your part, I don't see a problem. Although very seldom, I have done Bringdowns on other people's work with no problems on my part.
