A few years back I was approached by a very large well known law firm. They requested that I complete searches for them but they mentioned that they would not pay for the ones that didnt close. I told them I could not agree to that policy. They said okay and sent us work anyway. In the end they decided to skip out on paying for quite a few searches. I sued them and won but my question for all of you is,
Is it a common practice in your area for attorneys to not pay if they do not close?
