I wouldn't say that I'd give them a "pass," but for the most part our attorney clients have been very good about making timely payment in full.  It seems to be the largest of the title companies and vendor management companies that we have had the most problems with.  They are the ones that want to pay NET60 or NET90 and when they do finally pay, they short us on the bill.  The more local companies and attorney-owned agencies have always been very good and reliable when it comes to payment.

Interestingly, I have heard from appraisers that they have the same experience.  The locally owned banks are good, but the big banks that work through some central office for their orders are tough to get money out of.
