Yes. Holding too many receiveables can be a serious problem. If you typically bill at the end of the month, you aren't getting paid for 90 days on your invoices, you have 4 months outstading before you even realize there is a problem. If for any reason they cannot pay you (e.g. they didn't get paid by their client), you have a substantial loss.
That is why we hold our clients to OUR Net30 terms.
