I understand your position, Constance. It is one that all too many Americans find themselves in....having to choose between health care....mortgage and in the case of the elderly food. There is no way that health care expenses are rising enough to justify the ever increasing premiums. It is simply a matter of the profits sought by the insurance and pharmaceutical industries.
At least you will not have to worry about coverage of pre-existing conditions under the proposed new law. That seems to be an issue that both the House and Senate plans addressed. My concern is containing the expense of the premiums, and under the Senate bill I see very little that does that. I am hoping that the House members will not cave in to the Senate simply to get a bill passed.
