Loretta~

First of all welcome back..good to see you posting again.

Second, I quit doing their searches several months back, must have been over a year. Very slow pay..almost I wouldn't get paid UNLESS they had another search that needed to be done, then they would pay. They even accused me of holding a search hostsage..I didn't even attempt to do the search, because I remembered their history. Weird...Had one of my attorney clients ask about them about a month ago, as one of the other abstractors I know was having trouble getting paid by them and the attorney was asking about them before he called them on behalf of the abstractor. Not a good sign that things have not improved much with them.

Hopefully things will pick up for us all and we can all drop these losers, slow pay, no pay, nickle and dime pay companies and they will be weeded out because of their business practices. I don't know how most of these companies are hanging in there except that they string all of us a long in payment to stay in business. I am a firm believer in what goes around, comes around and it's coming for some of these folks in their "business" practices...especially ones that jump from abstactor to abstractor or constantly seeking abstractors, because they have burned so many bridges along the way with hard-working abstractors like us. That's why this site is so valuable. Thanks, Robert.

Good luck in starting over..I did it twice in 2 years with all my husband's job relocation. It's not easy, but do what we are all doing, keep tying knots at the end of your robe and hold on!

Have a nice Christmas everyone.

Jean Allen
