Maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me, but I just see so much potential for abuse here.  I think once you expand the program, cost containment is going to become more of a concern.  And you're absolutely right about private companies--that's my point.  You really think government bureaucracy will be any different?

It's one thing when a private company gets in your business.  At least they don't have the power to threaten you with fines and imprisonment to force you into compliance.
