I'm not sanguine about the punitive approach of the Democrat plan (threatening fines and imprisonment for those who choose to go without health coverage).  I favor allowing insurers to compete across state lines and giving small business the ability to pool together to offer group plans in much the same way as larger businesses do.  I'd also like to see an expansion of tax incentives for Health Savings Accounts to encourage people to save for future healthcare needs through the purchase of high-deductible health plans.
