The expansion of Medicare down to 55 is in trouble from what I have heard and will likely not be in the bill.  In fact, I would be surprised if any of the items you mentioned in this comment will be part of the final bill,  with the possible exception of an expanded regulated but private plan like the federal employee plan.  Any amendment that is passed along the lines of the ones that you mention will likely doom the whole bill, since there are a lot of Senators who seem to be actively looking for reasons to vote against the bill.
