None of those 53+ messages contain the name "REO America", except the ones in this thread.  When you are seaching for an exact match on a multi-word phrase like this, you need to put quotes around it, otherwise you get a list of all posts which contain the word "REO" or the word "America".

BTW, on the search page, there's a link for "advanced search tips" that may be useful at times... for instance, you can search for posts by particular authors or search for messages only within a particular time frame.
