No you are not out of luck. Title Stream legally known as TS Connections, LLC d/b/a Title Stream has not filed bankruptcy and in fact is still an active entity in the State of Texas as well as multiple other states as required by the Secretary of State orDivision of Corporations. Title Stream apparently still has liquidity whereas it is pursuing other actions and is paying legal bills in pursuit of said actions. It is true that Monte Sturgeon and Stacy Sturgeon filed bankruptcy. Title Stream is domiciled in Denton County Texas and can be served through its registered agent Monte Sturgeon at 216 Sleepy Hollow Ln. Coppell Texas 75019. There is a misconception that because the Sturgeons filed for bankruptcy that it was inclusive of the liability of TS Connections, LLC d/b/a Title Stream when in fact the personal bankruptcy included vendors of the company as a means to protect Sturgeon personally. The vendors that are owed money by the TS Connections, LLC d/b/a Title Stream have the right to file an action against the company for recovery. Since the company has not filed bankruptcy it stands to reason that it still has enough money to allow creditors to recover. The problem that TS Connections, LLC d/b/a Title Stream had is that the owner (Sturgeon) did not pay the vendors, i.e. notary, abstractor, etc. off the HUD during disbersment but rather paid the funds to TS Connections, LLC d/b/a Title Stream operating account.
