Zee, it's not actually a bar code. It would hit the 5th, 6th line of the page and just draaaaaaaaaggg it down so it looked like a huge bar code. It wasn't the problem that was the problem (if that makes any sense), it's their poor customer response that never handled the problem... that was the problem. Any of you make sense of that on a Monday?
Everyone, thanks for the input. My partner is techy and was adamant about owning the number we were going to use so we've bought an 877 number and ported it with MyFax (which was p-fax, which had been great). If we change services, we still keep the number. Now we have an 877 number so the searchers can send us orders from the courthouse. We'll have to determine just how many pages we're using and adjust our program accordingly. We're willing to deal with the added page costs if we can get orders in from everyone throughout the day, rather than waiting til everyone's back home again.
