Clanci,   As I understand her she had a 1 owner (CO) search that would require the

search of the current owner, mtgs., taxes (if they wanted them) and other normal

things in the chain forward from that deed, and a check on the previous owner

(grantor) on the deed to my people.   Beyond that, to be asked to supply a copy of

the "deed back" would be no major issue with me, BUT then they appear to be

asking her to "chain back" to that 3rd (back back deed) and get a copy of it.

That makes it a 3 owner search in my mind, much more than she had quoted

a price on, and that they had ordered.  The client appears to be wanting to

"get much for nothing", that's where the line needs to be drawn.
