The media tends to have a very negative outlook on life and ongoings of society. You get what you push. So anyone watching the news or media needs to keep in mind that it is 2 things, mostly used for entertainment and shock value and that most media sources state opinion as fact.

It's just a tricky game, this whole "keeping your head on straight regarding the issues". But one thing I do know - looking at the negative for too long will only generate more negative. There are good things going on out there.
