Jean and Deb, It's sad when 'some people' have no compassion for the plight of the elderly, some just  tend to be too trusting and it's a sad state of affairs when it's taken advantage of  by the scum out there to make money off the backs of the gullible and elderly.  I'm sure they went into a state of panic when they heard their family member was in trouble and needed help and didn't stop to think it might be a scam.
