Well, like I said George, just can't understand what they were thinking at the time.  The fact that she's 83 and he's 86 may have had something to do with it, but mentally they are totally together, so I don't think that was it.  I think they still see their grandshildren as shildren, even though they know my son just got engaged and just bought a condo, both certainly aduly activities.  I think they just got so focused on helping they didn't think it through.  That was kinda my reason for posting this, to make the point that's it's all too easy to get scammed.  And I agree, they should have called us, but they didn't ans it happened.  I need a puppy to play with to cheer me up!
