I amazed that you would think it;s mean to state an

obvious fact, that it is'nt that hard to make contact with

someone before sending money.   If people can't do

that, then our society seems hopeless.   Society can

only do so.....much to attempt to protect the weaker

among us.   We've had some of that in our rural

area here, but the ladies that were being contacted

had read items in our weekly paper and call the

sheriff and local police, who complimented them for

being so bright and alert.
