If I pulled the foreclosure documents at the courthouse, I don't know if I could tell if this company was the one that filed these documents.  The same thing could happen with future searches....they could have been, like they said, sold off in bulk sales or moved to another title companies by a new server.  I might never be able to confirm that they were the ones that finalized the foreclosure.  Therefore, it might be hard to prove.  Plus, I wouldn't  have the time to be looking up every unpaid invoice, in the future, and have to try to prove that they had closed it.

They say that they lost over $250,000 in 2009 due to abstract fees.....they didn't say how much they actually netted.  I would doubt that they would still be in business if they did not show a profit.  I know I wouldn't be.
