My suggestion is to verify that they are not getting paid. Go to the courthouse and pull the foreclosure file on any order you have done work on. The judgment lists the amount owed the bank plus the costs of foreclosure. The title work will be listed as part of the attorney fees and in our State (Wisconsin) are listed as seperate items. If the borrowers redeem the property, they are charged the fees directly or they are paid by the lender. Any way you look at it, these fees normally get paid. The attorneys don't do all this work for free, and any services they order always get paid. You may have been thrown a curveball by your client.
