Urban Settlement Services/Title Source - Michael/KS

I'm but a single voice but I wanted to share my experiences with USS and Title Source.

I started with USS in October of 2009 and they sent about  thousand dollars a month of work to me for the final three months of the year, all of which they paid in about 30-40 days. In 2010, we still work together with the volume being significantly down. As of Monday, March 15th, they have paid me through January.

Regarding Title Source, I've worked with them for some time and they have always been low maintenance (reasonable expectations) and have been A-quality payers (no nasty wrestling matches that I can recall). I feel fortunate to have them as a client.

Currently, they have paid for orders through early February. They have paid me consistently.

I feel for any abstractor who needs payments to stay a viable provider. I have had clients fall behind by as much as $ 4 K on a few occasions, a client sell his company without paying me that amount, another client say they lost $ 4 K worth of invoices and then instruct me to resend them all, some clients send checks to an address I haven't lived to in years, clients insist they've paid for hundres and thousands of dollars of work when they haven't....so I empathize. That's business, that's people, that's life.

I hope things work out for your business and you very soon.
