Truth is a defense to defamation claims. However, it will not save you from tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees to defend the action.
I get calls all too often from people threatening to bring a claim against the person who posted the "libelous" comment AND Source of Title. So far, nobody has filed suit against us, but I cringe everytime I get the call.
Our policy is to allow our users to post anything they like and they take sole responsibility for the post. I will not remove any post once there are comments, and as a general rule, I won't remove anyone's post without their consent.
