There is a fine balance between being able to make money and pleasing a customer. The low ball customers are settling for what we called "time bombs". They are placing work with abstractors who are giving an inferior product and the problems created by these searches come well after the deal closes. The customer is going to pay a lot more to correct the errors in the future. If you settle for a lowball fee, your expertise is being exploited.
