Thanks, guys. I'm not too worried about it. I have received several calls like this over the years and I haven't yet been contacted by an attorney. My guess is that if they talked to their attorney they would be told that we are immune under federal law. And... they know who posted the comment if they really want to sue someone.
Of course, they still have to overcome the first hurdle to prove that the statement is defamatory. In most cases, it seems that it would be simple to prove - either they have paid or they haven't. If they haven't, well... probably not much they can do about it. Afterall, the majority of the posts that are complained about are simple "this company didn't pay me."
