I'm not quite sure what the history lesson was for, but thank you!  I was not aware that most people did not know how Hitler's regime took over the countries they did.  Popular leaders, good or evil, are charismatic and charming. 

What I'm not sure of is why you posted it here.  Are you comparing our current struggles with them?  And if so, maybe someone could answer a question for me:  Were they electing Hitler for a 4 year term or as a permanent government leader?
