I agree with the last post that experience abstracting and time with a mentor is invaluable for abstractors, however, I believe there is a significant opportunity for online courses for abstractors.  If we can continue to pursue abstractor certification through NALTEA, online courses can be used for continuing education credits, changes in state/ national laws, and a variety of other topics.

In an industry where many abstractors are prevented from traveling to classroom-type courses by the nature of their business, quality online courses have the opportunity to make a real impact.
