When they told me $35.00, I lost my thoughts and didn't realize this fee wasn't writtten in stone. I bluntly told them "I'm I sorry I don't do current owner searches for that amount". It's just the nerve of some of these companies wanting us to work for pennies. I can work for $35.00 too if I write anything down and have at least 10 to 15 current searches at one time to complete.  This profession is a tidious one and we should be well paid for anyone interested in hiring our services.
