hello arlene :) i had to eat 7k also from a company here in ohio, which the state put out of business, it turned out that the company had stole 3.5 million dollars in this real estate fraud.  investigators had to go to mexico to arrest on of the women who did the fraudulant practices. it was in 1993 when this occured. a lot of other abstractors had to eat 3 times what i had to eat.
