I do own my own abstract company and I honestly have dealt with ken for over three years now and have consistently gotten paid every month.  Like every company there are times when the payement might be slow but our business has been slow.  That is why i do not rely on pay check to pay check and I try to manage my money correctly.  He has never not paid me and has worked down what he does owe me over the years.  He does have an outstanding balance with my company but has worked hard to pay me down and if i call politely and ask him and explain that i need a check he will send one my way.  Ken is a good guy and has given my company a great deal of work.  I am still doing work for Ken and still receiving checks every month.
