I had a file in Chesterfield County where the payment was credited to the account then 5 months later the payment was "uncredited". This was the word used by the treasurer's office. Fortunately, I had a copy of the printout showing that the 1st half taxes were marked paid. From that point on, I included language on my report refelecting the information was for info only and it should be verified with the appropriate taxing authority.
