I'm all ears if you have any good ideas for search engine optimization.  I have the google toolbar that shows our page rank, and our home page has been rated a paltry 3 out of 10 for more than five years.   I've completely rebuilt the site at least four times during that time.  I've read many ideas over the years and have incorporated some of them, but we seem to be stuck behind many many less relevant sites for most or all important keyword searches for us.

I know that there are a lot of title industry people who have never even heard of us. but we don't have any extra money to spend on marketing.  Somehow getting higher rank in Google would be a big boost.  We need ways for people to find us that are free to us-- or nearly free.

Any ideas you have for how Source of Title can be improved, we would be very interested to hear it.  We have made various additions over the years and are always willing to try new things, add new features.

Agreed on our forums being light on useful content-- a source of frustration for us over the years.  I stop by the appraiser forums every once in a while, and even though there is a good measure of whining and moaning over there, they also discuss their industry and their work a lot more than we do here.
