You are right... The liberal exteremists are guilty of the same thing. But, I wouldn't lump our Supreme Court Justices in with that group. Remember, the law is whatever they say it is. The problem that I have is with the people who ignore the Court's rulings that define the Constitution and insist that their interpretation is correct.
Anyone can argue what the founders' intentions were when they drafted it - and they could be right. Unfortunately, the interpretations that we have to abide by are the ones that the Supreme Court has decided.
I'll be the first to admit that the Supreme Court has strayed far and wide from the original meaning of the Constitution. There have been many cases I have disagreed with. But, it doesn't change the fact that the Supreme Court can't be wrong, once they rule the law is settled.
