I personally have never done bulk emails.

I send out about 1200 postcards a month to title companies around the US. I mail 3x to a mailing list before getting a new one.

I use a company, a mailing house,  that does my mailings as they can update the addresses before each mailing and because they get good postage rates.

I have gotten alot of new clients over the years from these mailings.

I do not mail directly to lenders. My experience when I owned a nationwide company, Banks would rather deal with 1 or 2 companies who cover the entire United States, less work for them to have to chase up orders. At that time we worked for payoff departments and acquisition departments and it was document retrieval, recordings and printing assignments and getting them recorded.

Let me know how it goes when you start doing the bulk emails, if its successful I would consider doing it in addition to the mailings I already do.
